Chiara String Quartet    Fumito Nunoya       

 

Inaugurated in 2001, Arts in the Village is a performing arts series whose purpose is to enrich the community by presenting cultural events that enlighten and inspire.  All performances take place in historic Goff Memorial Hall, a wonderful performance space with fantastic acoustics.

2008-2009 Season

October 4: Violinist Emil Altschuler brings a trio to the series with classical guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan and pianist Pei-yeh Tsai. www.myspace.com/emilaltschuler 

November 22:

February 14:

Fumito Nunoya, an award-winning classical marimbist, will be joined by the Boston Chamber Orchestra String Quartet for a Valentine's Day concert. www.fumitonunoya.com

March 14:

The Chiara String Quartet, an award-winning ensemble based in New York and New England, will be making its debut in the series. www.chiaraquartet.net

April 11:

Violinist
Irina Muresanu returns to the series, performing in the Boston Trio with cellist Allison Eldredge and pianist Heng-Jin Park. www.bostontrio.com
